Amlodipine. Internist is putting me on it, and will monitor me. Hoping to get my diastolic #s down. I see the endocrinologist and the nephrologist on Columbus Day, so I could hopefully get a month into this Rx and see if it helps lower the pressure, lessen the tension type headaches, and hopefully make me less agitated and more prone to getting asleep (and maintaining good sleep).
Here's to hoping. Going to start dosing tonight with dinner. I take my ace inhibitor in the a.m., and figure I don't want to start my day too groggy if the calcium channel blocker makes me too groggy. Better to sleep off the groggy, IMHO.
Nothing else new to report. I'm about 21 days into my cycle, feel pain and weirdness. Maybe I'm ovulating. Meh. Let's see what next week brings: relief or yet another month of unbearable pain.
