Blip on the EKG was a "voltage weirdness." In the process of finding out if it's something in the heart or something with the EKG itself. I'm going with the theory it's the heart, as the 3 different EKGs I've had have all been done by different technicians at different locations. What are the odds that those three technicians put the leads on in the exact same spots? Unlikely.
Hurry up and wait. ECG to be done, and hopefully when I see the nephrologist next month, I can schedule a time w/the cardiologist the same day to discuss the ECG findings.
Purpose of seeing the cardiologist was to find out what is causing the irregularity on the EKG, and to assess any damage my obesity and poorly managed hyptertension may have had on my heart (is it causing a thickening of the muscle?).
Interesting aside, as the cardiologist was manually examining my abdomen, as he pressed down on my right side (the exact spot where I've complained about the RLQ pain), I told him that is exactly where my pain has been.
BP was roughly 130/80, which is finally showing some improvement since doubling the ACE inhibitor.
Hurry up and wait.
Let me hit "publish," so I can then call the diagnostic center to schedule the ECG.
